Attack of the Giant Gila Monster (1959)

For most of the HOT ROD flick the cast dances around the possibility of any unusual life forms until the father of a boy who went missing early in the film insists that there could be a huge lizard out there, giving reasoning which makes absolutely no sense at all. He insists that a giant lizard could easily live out there for years unnoticed, get this, in the "underbrush." Well, maybe he just didn't understand the scale he was talking about, because given the size of the car that crashes into it at the end of the film, this lizard living in "underbrush" was probably a good 60 feet long. But even without having seen the thing, is "underbrush" the kind place where something big enough to push cars sideways could hide? I 12 inch salamander played the monster in this 1959 masterpiece.

Attack of the Giant Leeches (1959)

Attack of the Giant Leeches is a low-budget horror Roger Corman film from 1959. It might not be the most exciting of films, but what it lacks in action it makes up for in rubber costumes. Scooby Doo never fought monsters that looked this silly. Dave walker has a cheating she-vixen of a wife who walks all over him, and there are giant leeches in the swamp. Dave will have to sort out his wife himself - not to mention the guy who is giving her a regular 'sorting out.' As for the leeches, the local game-warden, Steve Benton, will need to get to grips with that problem because the local sheriff seems to have no interest in the matter at all. This is Corman monster gold.

Korgoth of Barbaria (2006) another {adult swim} casualty

I know the budget for the voice talent and amazing production team must have been painful on this but the Venture Bothers can't be any cheaper. I don't know why this wasn't given a full season, but it is a shame that it never had the chance to prove itself

"Korgoth lays waste to the competition in this pilot for Adult Swim." IGN

"Korgoth truly would be gem in the [AS] schedule...
if only that the executives in charge weren't obsessed with cheap crap!
If [AS] keeps this up, they'll be playing nothing but infomercials within five years." Angry IMBB user

"I've dated uglier girls than you, for breakfast!"  Korgoth

SNAKE 'N' BACON live action show with cartoons

This is Michael Kuperman's pilot that he created for adult swim. It is hysterical which is probably why it was not picked up.I get the impression that Adult Swim's upper management kinda blows.
The show's original (and only?) air-date was May 11th 2009 at 12:45 AM, which is just about the worst time you can possibly premiere a new show given that that time-slot does not show up on most channel guides.video

ROBOT MONSTER (1953) with Big Chuck and Lil Jon

Ro-Man, an alien that looks remarkably like a gorilla in a diving helmet, has destroyed all but six people on the planet Earth. He spends the entire film trying to finish off these survivors, but complications arise when he falls for the young woman in the group. And there's his ominous "Laurence Whelk"bubble machine!

Original title : Robot Monster
Director(s) : Phil Tucker
Writer(s) : Wyott Ordung (screenplay)i
Length : 66 min

Aka(s) :
Monster from Mars - (undefined)
Monsters from the Moon - USA (TV title)
Robot Monster - Spain

You only think you have seen Robot Monster at its Gonzo greatest, but you really haven't until you watch it with two sports and oldies fans Big Chuck and Lil Jon, a show with the technical grace of an apple II-E and standards that would almost be forgivable on public access, but this airs on a Cleveland FOX affiliate. Cleveland must blow.

Preview of Saturday's unique Midnight Movie and it is a bad one that two guys made worse by hosting it!

PREMIERING SATURDAY!

You may be curious as to why a Psychotronic-centric site took so long to show this obvious choice – well, you have never seen it like this before – hosted by Big Chuck and Lil Jon. This is one of the worst horror film hosted/variety shows I have ever seen and I have seen every episode of the HILLARIOUS HOUSE OF FRIGHTENSTEIN, which in all fairness was so low rent it never even aired a film. You will be effing amazed that these well-meaning (sport’s fans?) make fun of Director Phil Tucker’s ineptitude when you see them parade their stunningly inept Monty Python like sketches that they show instead of or in place of commercials. Their show opens with a midget slave (?) Lil Jon who hits a giant swami (?) Big Chuck in the goons with a gong hammer. This is the brass ring, B-Movie fans; ROBOT MONSTER hosted by a show with worse material than the movie itself. Please, try not to turn it off during Big Chuck and Lil Jon “fun with King Kong” montage. Watch the original theatrical trailer for ROBOT MONSTER and then tune in Saturday for Big Chuck and Lil Jon’s presentation of the film. This is also an oldies show but I can't figure out why; the opening song?
In all fairness Big Chuck does have a set of pipes like Charles Napier and looks a bit like him as well.
They both seem like good guys having fun, but for a show that is actually aired and has won several local Emmys it is a jaw dropper.
